The bog walk

I walked for hours this morning in the spring sunshine. The air was fresh and clean and brisk. The sky was clear, the sun shone and the bog beckoned me onwards.

I brought my camera with me and took photos along the way to record the moment.


In case you've ever wondered, this is what happens when you sing some Johnny Cash at a bunch of cows...


This is a blackthorn tree. But be careful there might be fairies around so don't go too close!


Some neglected and lonely footed turf.


The recent high winds have felled many trees in the area this one had a bough broken. It's lying at the feet of the tree it fell from.


This daffodil was the only splash of colour along my path.
