The Future

Me and my lovely man have made some very profound decisions about our future in the last few weeks. I'm not going to share the finer details with the world at large cause I don't think he would be very happy with me! But what I do have to say is that while once I would have thought that I would have been terrified and panicked after making such decisions the happy reality is that the exact opposite is true. I am genuinely looking forward to the next few years. If all goes to plan they should be full of adventure, excitement, new experiences and hopefully happiness. Tall order I know but everyone should have goals!
First on the agenda though is to finish the law society exams so that I will have a career in place for when I am ready. I feel fairly confidant that I did ok in the last two I just hope my gut instinct is right about it! I have decided to sit 3 together in September so that means that I will have to start into the next round of studying asap as it will all be from scratch which is bound to be a tall order!
In the meantime we are heading to the Burren in Co Clare for the long weekend to go hill walking and just to relax and we're both really looking forward to it! We'll also pop home to see my folks on the way down which is an added bonus! There is loads of cool things coming up in June not least of which is the U2 concert which I am very excited about!
I also have an important appointment in June which I made today and am relieved that I took the plunge it is something that has bugged me for far too long and I am finally going to face that particular demon. I'm feeling quite proud of myself as well.

A semblance of Normality

Well I survived Contract yesterday and to be honest I think it was a little better then my last attempt in October so fingers crossed I won't have to attempt that particular exam again! Am absoloutely wrecked though and the last place I want to be is here at my desk but life goes on and money has to be earned!

Oh my lord I have created a blog site all on my own! And it was dead easy too! I have no idea what I am going to use it for but I'm sure something will come to mind over the next days and months!
Right now I am in work obviously not working I am psyching myself up to go home and start revising for my contract law exam on monday so if anyone reads this I hope you wish me luck!
